About Us

TOP END WOMEN'S LEGAL SERVICE Inc (TEWLS) was created under the Commonwealth Government's Access to Justice program in 1996. TEWLS is funded by the Commonwealth Attorney General's Department to provide legal and referral services to the women of the Top End and is a member of the National Association of Community Legal Centres.

TEWLS is staffed by the following people:

Emma King - Community & Project Officer
Sherree Smith - Office Administrator / Finance Officer
